Waaree Energies Secures 280 MW Supply Order from Mahindra Susten

Waaree Energies on Thursday 20 June announced that they have seacured a supply order from Mahindra Susten for 280 megawatt solar modules. 

In its regulatory filing, the company said that these modules will be delivered from December 2024 onwards and are designed to support Mahindra Susten’s ambitious renewable energy projects. 

Waaree Energies announced an agreement with Mahindra Susten, a renewable independent power producer (IPP), to supply 280 MW (DC) of advanced solar modules in Bikaner, Rajasthan. According to the statement, the contract includes the provision of Waaree Energies Limited’s ELITE Series, N-Type TopCon 580Wp modules, which are known for their high efficiency and performance.

Sunil Rathi, Director Sales, Waaree Energies, said in the statement, “Partnering with Mahindra Susten is a source of great pride for our company.” 

Deepak Thakur, Managing Director & CEO of Mahindra Susten, said in the statement that they are pleased to announce their second order with Waaree Energies during the current financial year.

On 11 June, the company delivered 68 megawatts of its Bi-55 bifacial dual glass-framed modules to Gensol Engineering Limited.
