Wanbury Shares Shot-Up 5% as USFDA Issues 0 Observations 

The USFDA conducted an inspection at its Patalganga site between 10 June and 14 June 2024.

Shares of Wanbury Ltd were trading in the green and 5% higher on 20 June after the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) issued zero observation during its inspection of its Patalganga site. 

In its regulatory filing, the pharmaceutical company said,  “We are happy to announce the successful completion of the United States Food & Drug Administration (USFDA) inspection at Patalganga site, Maharashtra.”

The USFDA conducted an inspection at its Patalganga site between 10 June and 14 June 2024 and concluded the inspection by issuing a Form 483 with 0 observations. 

The company added, “This is the 6th successful USFDA inspection of Wanbury Patalganga site.”

The company emphasised its commitment to quality and regulatory compliance at its API manufacturing sites in Patalganga, Maharashtra, and Tanuku, Andhra Pradesh, the latter of which is also USFDA approved.

Wanbury Limited, headquartered in Navi Mumbai, India, specialises in the manufacturing and distribution of formulations and active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). 

Formerly known as Pearl Organics Limited, Wanbury offers a diverse range of formulations in areas such as gynaecology, orthopaedics, hematinics, anti-diabetics, nutraceuticals, gastrointestinal solutions, stroke care, antibiotics, cough and cold remedies, anti-inflammatory drugs, analgesics, and general practitioner medications.

The company also produces APIs for therapeutic areas, including anti-diabetics, analgesics, antidepressants, antihistamines, anti-inflammatories, anti-arthritis treatments, antithrombotics, antiepileptics, and antihypertensives. Wanbury Limited exports its products to more than 70 countries, including the US, Europe, and Latin America.

At 2:55 pm, the shares of Wanbury were trading 0.77% higher at Rs 162 on NSE.
