The GIFT Nifty futures, an early indicator of the Nifty50 index, were trading 0.80% higher by 181 points at 22,680, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a positive start on Thursday. 

On Wednesday, 5 June, Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex soared 2,303 points, or 3.20%, to end at 74,382 while the Nifty50 traded 736 points or 3.36% higher and settled at 22,620.35.

Here are some stocks that are likely to remain in focus on 6 June.

Rail Vikas Nigam: The company has announced securing multiple orders worth Rs 500 crore from Eastern Railway for the construction of the Sitarampur bypass line under the Asansol Division. 

Bharat Heavy Electricals: In its regulatory filing, the company announced receiving a significant order worth Rs 3,500 crore from Adani Power to establish a 1,600 megawatt (MW) Thermal Power Plant at Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

KPI Green Engineering: The company has secured orders worth Rs 351.35 crore from different clients for projects, including railway track fencing, building crash barriers for solar projects, and electricity transmission line towers. 

Torrent Pharma: The pharmaceutical major has entered into a non-exclusive patent licensing agreement with Takeda Pharmaceuticals to commercialise Vonoprazan in India. This drug is used to treat and prevent the return of ulcers caused by certain types of bacteria. 

LTI Mindtree: An overwhelming majority of LTIMindtree’s clientele—90 to 95%—are planning to invest in Generative AI (GenAI) within the next 12 to 18 months and is currently engaging in over 140 GenAI projects, Nachiket Deshpande, the chief operating officer of the IT company told FE.

Nazara Technologies: The subsidiary of the company, Absolute Sports has acquired the assets of SoapCentral.com for a total consideration of Rs 11.6 crore. 

NBCC India: The company announced that they have secured 13 orders worth Rs 491 crore.
