Stocks in Focus: Wipro, Container Corporation of India, Tata Motors, and Others

The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index, was trading 0.62% higher by 137 points at 22,084 indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a positive start on Wednesday. 

On Tuesday, 4 June, Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex crashed 4,389.73 points, or 5.74%, to end at 72,079 while the Nifty50 traded 1,379.40 points or 5.93% lower and settled at 21,884.50.

Here are some stocks that are likely to remain in focus on 5 June.

Wipro: The company has collaborated with Zscaler to introduce Wipro Cyber X-Ray, an AI-assisted decision support platform.

Container Corporation of India: The company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Shipping Corporation of India to explore business opportunities for leveraging the advantage of each other’s infrastructure and experience in synergy to offer seamless and cost-effective end-to-end logistics services to customers under a single window.

Tata Motors: The Board of Directors of the company have approved setting up a wholly-owned subsidiary for commercial vehicles business. The new subsidiary will be named as TML Commercial Vehicles. 

Jindal Stainless: The company has announced acquiring a 100% stake in  Evergreat International Investment Pte Ltd, Singapore (EIPL), making it a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company and Chromeni Steels Private Limited (CSPL) a step-down subsidiary. 

GPT Infraprojects: The company has announced that it is securing a Rs 547 crore order from Rai Vikas Nigam.
