Hanooman has been launched by 3AI Holding Limited and SML India in India. The homegrown multilingual GenAI platform has 98 global languages, including 12 Indian languages, to build a Generative AI ecosystem in India by leveraging the country’s diverse linguistic and cultural heritage.

The platform was developed by SML India in partnership with 3AI Holding with an aim to reach 200 million users in the first year of launch. 

The 12 Indian languages that are currently available on the web and app are Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Kannada, Odia, Punjabi, Assamese, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Sindhi. Hanooman also supports a host of global languages, including English, Italian, Spanish, Korean, German, Japanese, and 80 other languages worldwide. 

As a part of this launch, SML India has partnered up with  leading technology companies such as HP, NASSCOM, and Yotta. Through this partnership with NASSCOM, the company plans to support several initiatives such as AI startups, engaging with 3,000 colleges, fostering fintech innovation, and participating in research programmes. Yotta will provide FPU cloud infrastructure to bolster the company’s operations.

The company has also partnered up with the Government of Telangana and the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances to provide seamless translations between English and Telugu to enhance accessibility and understanding of crucial documents like court orders.
