Cello World Stock Trades 1.7% Higher on Plans to Establish New Glassware Plant in Rajasthan

This expansion will contribute to increased manufacturing capacities across its existing product categories.

Shares of Cello World Limited saw a 1.7% increase in early trade on April 5 following the company’s announcement of its plans to establish a glassware manufacturing plant in Rajasthan.

The company, known for its consumer ware products, aims to bolster its production capabilities, broaden its product range, and strengthen its market presence through this strategic move.

According to a regulatory filing, the manufacturing facility will be set up in phases under the Cello Consumerware Private Limited subsidiary company. The company plans to have the glassware furnace operational by the end of the first quarter of FY25.

In a statement on its website, the company expressed its intention to equip the new facility with European-made machinery to ensure high productivity and precise design and finish. This expansion will contribute to increased manufacturing capacities across its existing product categories.

Cello’s product range encompasses a variety of items such as drinkware, dinnerware, lunch boxes, casseroles, bakeware, and kitchen appliances. Notable products include the Nomad Flask, Maestro Flask, and Kidzbee Apollo Cuddle Buddies lunch box.

At 2:43 pm, the shares of Cello World were trading 1.19% higher at Rs 820.00 on NSE.
