GIC Housing Finance is planning to raise Rs 800 crore through issuing non-convertible debentures on a private placement basis.
The company, also has decided to increase its borrowing powers to Rs 10,000 crore from Rs 8,000 crore.
The resolutions has been passed by company’s shareholders after the postal ballot activity on December 15.
A resolution regard to the related party transactions up to an aggregate limit of Rs 350 crore was also passed.
