Stocks in Focus: IIFL Finance, Tata Motors, Hindustan Aeronautics, and Others

The GIFT Nifty futures traded lower by 63.50 points or 0.29% at 22,032, indicating the domestic indices to open on a negative note on Thursday. 

Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex crashed over 906.1 points and settled at 72,761.9, whereas NSE Nifty50 fell by 338 points, settling at 21,997.7. 

Here are some stocks that are likely to remain in focus on 14 March.

Hindustan Aeronautics: The company has signed a Rs 8,073 crore pact with the Union Ministry of Defence to acquire 34 indigenous advanced light helicopters for the Indian Army and the Coast Guard. 

Tata Motors: The company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Tamil Nadu to set up a vehicle manufacturing facility in the state. The total investment will be Rs 9,000 crore over five years. 

IIFL Finance: The company’s Board of Directors has considered and approved raising Rs 1,500 crore through a rights issue and Rs 500 crore via the issuance of non-convertible debentures through a private placement. 

Reliance Industries: Reliance has signed a binding agreement with two subsidiaries of Paramount Global to acquire the remaining stake in Viacom18 Media Pvt Ltd for a total consideration of Rs 4,286 crore.

Vedanta: The company is set to appeal against SEBI’s order, levying a Rs 77.6 crore penalty for the delay in paying dividends to Cairn UK Holdings. 

SJVN: The company’s renewable arm and wholly owned subsidiary, SJVN Green Energy Limited, has announced receiving a Letter of Intent from Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited for a 500-megawatt Solar Project in GUVNL Phase XXI. 

DLF: The company’s subsidiary has sold 4.67 acres of land to Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company for Rs 735 crore.
