Stocks in Focus: RVNL, BLS International Services, PNC Infratech and Others

The GIFT Nifty futures were trading in the red before the market’s opening on Tuesday. Indices are expected to open on a similar negative note.

Domestic benchmark indices, NSE Nifty 50 and S&P BSE Sensex, settled at lifetime closing highs, rising for the fifth consecutive session on Monday. Sensex climbed 759.49 points or 1.05% to settle at 73,327.94, while Nifty ended 0.93% or 202.90 points higher at 22,097.45.

Here are some stocks that are likely to remain in focus on January 16.

PNC Infratech: The infrastructure development and construction company inked agreements with Highways Infrastructure Trust to divest one toll concession and 11 road assets in multiple states for an enterprise value of Rs 9,005.7 crore.

Aster DM Healthcare: The board of the healthcare company is considering distributing dividends in the range of Rs 110 to Rs 120 apiece to its shareholders from 70–80% of the upfront consideration of $903 million from the sale of its Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) business to Alpha GCC Holdings 

BLS International Services: The company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, BLS International FZE, UAE, has entered into a definitive Share Purchase Agreement to acquire a 100% stake in Turkey-based Visa and Consular Services provider iData and its subsidiaries for an enterprise value of €50 million or around Rs 450 crore.

Hindustan Copper, NALCO: Khanij Bidesh India Ltd (KABIL), a joint venture between NALCO, Hindustan Copper and Mineral Exploration Company, signed an agreement with Argentina-based CAMYEN SE for the country’s first lithium mining and exploration, with an estimated project cost of Rs 200 crore.

Rail Vikas Nigam ltd (RVNL): The Ministry of Railways’ undertaking has emerged as the lowest bidder for a power transmission project from the Central Region Electricity Distribution Company for the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 11 KV line-associated works in Madhya Pradesh.
