Wind turbine manufacturer Suzlon Energy Ltd, on 27 December, announced that it had received two orders of 100.8-megawatt wind power projects from Nordic Energy Company and Mahindra Susten.
In its regulatory filing, the company said that it had received an order to supply 48 wind turbine units of its S120 – 140m wind turbine generators (WTGs) with a Hybrid Lattice tubular (HLT) tower that has a rated capacity of 2.1 megawatts each from Mahindra Susten.
The company will supply, install, and commission the project and will also offer post‐commissioning operation and maintenance services.
They have also received an order from Nordic Energy Company to develop a 100.8-megawatt wind power project for the Indian subsidiary of a leading Nordic Energy Company in Karnataka.
The company added, “Suzlon will install 32 wind turbine generators (WTGs) with a Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower and a rated capacity of 3.15 MW each.”
JP Chalasani, Chief Executive Officer, Suzlon Group, said, “We are happy to announce our first order with Mahindra Susten Pvt. Ltd., one of India’s fastest‐growing renewable energy Independent Power Producer (IPP) with a strong footprint in India.”
This is the third such order the company has secured this week; earlier, it had won a repeated order from the KP Group for a 193.2-megawatt project.
