Shares of Nazara Technologies were trading in the green and 5% higher on 20 December after the company announced that it has entered into a partnership with four gaming studios in India to publish five new games.
In its regulatory filing, the company said it has entered into a partnership agreement with four distinguished Indian game studios. The partnership is in line with the ‘Make in India’ vision in the gaming industry.
The games that are set to be released by the company are;
- ‘Gravity Shooter’, which is a 2D action game that Smash Head Studios will create,
- ‘World Cricket League’ is a 3D multiplayer cricket game developed by Wandermind Labs.
- ‘Hacked: Password Puzzle’ by Pixcell Play is a puzzle game.
- ‘Laser Tanks’ and ‘Paperly’ are going to be developed by ATG Studios.
Nitish Mittersain, Jt. MD & CEO of Nazara said, “The company’s commitment to bringing unique gaming experiences and robust support to Indian game developers. The Nazara Publishing division, enriched with innovative AI-led tools from the new Nazara SDK, is set to foster the growth and development of game creators.”
Moreover, The company added that they are planning to publish 20 games within the next 12 to 18 months and are planning to invest Rs 1 – 3 Crore per game.
At 3:30 pm, the shares of Nazara Technologies shed all its early gains and closed 3.79% lower at Rs 842.05 on NSE.
