The GIFT Nifty futures were trading in a flat to positive range before the market’s opening on Monday. Indices are expected to open on a similar sombre note.
Domestic benchmark indices, NSE Nifty 50 and S&P BSE Sensex, settled the spectacular trading week at lifetime highs. Nifty surged 273.95 points or 1.29% to end at a record high of 21,456.65, while Sensex finished the Friday session with a gain of 1.37% or 969.54 points to 71,483.75.

Lupin: The pharma major has received tentative approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its abbreviated new drug applications for Allopurinol Tablets USP and Sitagliptin Tablets USP.
Landmark Cars: The company has received a letter of intent from MG Motor India for opening a dealership in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Further, Landmark Cars will foray into the South Indian market in partnership with Mercedes-Benz. The latter has approved the company to open a workshop in Hyderabad.
NBCC (India): In a successful auction, the company sold 2.23 lakh square feet of total commercial space at the World Trade Centre, New Delhi, worth Rs 905 crore.
Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders: The company has inked individual shipbuilding contracts amounting to $42 million with a European client for the construction of three units of 7,500 DWT multi-purpose hybrid-powered vessels.
Tata Power, NTPC: Tata Power’s subsidiary, Tata Power Solar Systems, has signed a Rs 418 crore contract with NTPC to supply 152 MWp DCR solar PV modules to be used for NTPC’s Rajasthan project.
