Shares of Sunteck Realty were trading in the red and 8% lower on 13 December after a large deal involving 69 lakh shares changed hands.
Around 69 lakh shares representing 4.75% equity of the company changed hands on the exchanges for an average price of Rs 482 per share, a 3% discount from its closing price of 499.45 on 12 December.
The buyers and sellers involved in this deal are yet to be identified.
The large deal triggered a spike in trade volumes in the counter as 87 lakh shares changed hands in the exchanges till now, which is significantly higher than its one-month daily average of seven lakh shares.
In six months, the shares of the company have gained over 64% against the 11.18% gain of the benchmark Nifty50 index.
At 10:52 am, the shares of Sunteck Realty were trading 7.46% lower at Rs 462.20 on NSE.
