NTPC Shares were trading in the green on 6 November after the company commissioned the first part-capacity of 50 megawatt (MW) Dayapar Wind Energy project in Bhuj, Gujarat.
In its regulatory filing, the company said that it has successfully commissioned the first part capacity of 50 megawatts out of the 150 megawatts Dayapar Wind Energy project Phase-1 in Bhuj, Gujarat. Under 450 MW Hybrid Project of NTPC REL, a step-down subsidiary of NTPC Limited through its wholly owned subsidiary NTPC Green Energy Limited, is declared on commercial operation from 4 November.
With the commissioning of this project, the installed and commercial capacity of NTPC has reached 73,874 megawatts.
In its quarterly report for the July-September quarter, the company reported a 38.3% year-on-year (YoY) increase in its net profit at Rs 4,726.4 crore for the quarter against Rs 3,417.67 crore registered during the year-ago quarter.
The company reported its revenue from operations at Rs 44,983.35 crore, which is a 1.8% YoY increase from Rs 44,175.03 crore reported in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.
At 11:16 am, the shares of NTPC were trading 0.90% higher at Rs 236.50 on NSE.
