DLF has launched DLF Techpark in Sector 143, Noida, which will have an investment plan of Rs 3,400 crore in phases.
The said facility will span over 25 acres and have a building potential of close to four million square feet, of which 1.2 million square feet of housing, IT block, and data centres have been utilised.
The project is 700 metres from the nearest metro station and is a 45-minute drive from the upcoming Noida International Airport.
The company has attracted pre-commitments of 4.5 lakh square feet for the first two structures that have gone live in Noida. One is an IT block and a data centre that has a total space of about 4 lakh square feet.
The data centre has been built-to-suit to suit the client and has received further commitments from the same data firm for another 3.7 lakh square feet and is currently under construction.
The IT block has received close to 70% of commitments.
Karun Varma, Senior Executive Director, North Offices Business, DLF, said, “We have recently received inquiries for more IT space in the area, and that encourages us to plan for the next phase there. Out of the 1.15 million square feet that have already been constructed (as part of the first phase), one million square feet have already been committed by clients.
The second phase of the project is expected to be close to 2 million square feet, and the company is currently studying the market and also looking at the next phase of development.
