Stocks in Focus: Bombay Dyeing, NBCC, IRCTC and Others

The GIFTY Nifty futures were trading in the green during the early hours before the opening of the markets on Thursday. Domestic Indices are expected to open on a similar positive note.

Domestic equity indices ended higher on Wednesday following a lacklustre start. The S&P BSE Sensex extended its winning streak for the ninth straight session, whereas the NSE Nifty 50 crossed the 20,000 mark on September 13. At closing, the Sensex stood at 67,466.99, up 0.37% or 245.86 points, while the Nifty advanced 76.8 points or 0.38% to 20,070.

Here are some stocks likely to be under the market’s watch on September 14.

Bajaj Healthcare: The company has received the Establishment Inspection Report (EIR) with Zero 483 observations from the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for its active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) manufacturing unit in Savli, Vadodara, following the inspection in November 2022. 

NBCC (India) Ltd, SAIL: SAIL has given a work order worth Rs 180 crore to NBCC (India) for consultancy and project management services for its upcoming infra project of Bokaro Steel Plant, Township, Mine, and Colliery.

InterGlobe Aviation (IndiGo): The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has reportedly permitted the airline operator to wet-lease 11 A320 neo-family aircraft. Further, IndiGo will soon introduce a wrist gadget and a ground device to detect fatigue among pilots and check their level of alertness before and after flying an aircraft. 

Bombay Dyeing: The company’s board has approved its proposal to sell a 22-acre land parcel in Worli, Mumbai, to Goisu Realty, a subsidiary of Japan’s Sumitomo Realty & Development Company, for Rs 5,200 crore in 2 phases.

IRCTC: The company on Wednesday inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSTRC) to enable the latter’s online bus booking services on its bus booking portal/website, www.bus.irctc.co.in. Under the agreement, MSRTC will provide its online bus ticketing system APIs to IRCTC, which will integrate MSRTC bus ticketing APIs on its website and mobile apps.
