Shares of Tejas Network opened bright green on 16 August after the company received a purchase order worth Rs 7,492 crore from Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).
The master contract with Tata Consultancy Services is for the supply, support, and annual maintenance services of its Radio Access Network (RAN) equipment for approximately 100,000 sites for BSNL’s Pan-India 4G/5G network.
The purchase order received from TCS amounts to Rs 7,492 crore or approximately $900 million.
The equipment supply is to be executed between 2023 and 2024, whereas the support and maintenance services will be for 9 years post-warranty.

Dr Kumar N. Sivarajan, CTO of Tejas Networks, said in a statement that its 4G/5G RAN products are state-of-the-art and were subjected to rigorous field testing by BSNL for almost 18 months before being selected for large-scale deployment.
