On Tuesday, largest car maker of the Country, Maruti Suzuki has posted of a 42.08 percent increase in the net profit for the quarter ending September 30, 2015.
The company has reported a net profit of Rs 1,225.56 crore for the second quarter of the current fiscal against Rs 862.54 crore of last year.
It said in a regulatory filing that “Higher volumes, material cost reduction initiatives and favourable foreign exchange contributed significantly to bottomline growth during the quarter.”
The total income in the quarter under review increased to Rs 14070.85 crore compared to Rs 12, 497.03 crore of September 30, 2014.
