Bharat Forge Ltd (BFL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with global aerospace and technology company Paramount Group to develop and produce composite rotor blades, mission systems and mount management systems for medium-lift helicopters at Aero India, an official statement said on Thursday.

Guru Biswal, Chief Executive Officer, Aerospace Division, Bharat Forge, said, “This MoU with M/S Paramount is a testament to our commitment to work for ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’, create niche technologies and support Indian and global needs.

The collaboration will focus on creating a “Center of Excellence” in India to design, develop and manufacture composite rotor blades, mission systems and mount management systems for rotor platforms. This design and manufacturing centre will support all future projects in India and globally.

CEO Aguru Biswal signed the MoU in the presence of senior officials from both companies – Aerospace, Bharat Forge and Paramount Group Senior Vice President Clifford Dewell.
