FMCG B2B wholesale platform ApnaKlub has raised $16 million in Series A funding. ApnaKlub previously raised $10 million from Tiger Global in late 2022. ApnaKlub has raised $20 million to date.

Additional funding came from TrueScale Capital and ICMG Partners, with participation from Flourish Ventures, Blume Ventures, Sequoia India’s Surge, and Whiteboard Capital.

The funds will enhance the digital platform for kirana shopkeepers and wholesalers in second and third-tier cities to purchase goods and services. It’s a $100 billion consumer market.

ApnaKlub focuses on making it easier for small business owners in India to obtain the products and services they need to run their businesses effectively. With this follow-on funding, the company will be able to continue to expand its platform and offer customers more products and services. ApnaKlub solves the pain points of 40% of TAMs with a radically different model and significantly better unit economics.

ApnaKlub was founded in 2020 by Shruti and Manish, two entrepreneurs with solid backgrounds in product, finance, strategy and FMCG distribution. Shruti holds a Gold Award from IIT Delhi and an MBA from Harvard Business School, bringing her expertise in consulting and investing to the firm. Manish has extensive experience in retail and FMCG, having held leadership roles at Walmart India, Metro Cash & Carry and Future Group.

ApnaKlub has processed over 2 lakh orders and cooperated and traded with more than 33,000 partners while keeping cash burn to a minimum.
