Today, Hindalco Industries Ltd rose 1.75% to trade at Rs 485.85. The S&P BSE Metal index is up 1.1% to quote at 21,354.2. The index is up 3.35 % over December 2022. National Aluminium Company Ltd added 1.38% among the other index constituents, and Jindal Steel & Power Ltd increased by 1.68%. The S&P BSE Metal index went up 10.32% over 2022 compared to the 1.06% fall in benchmark Sensex.
