Tata Motors Ltd fell for a fifth straight session on December 23. The stock traded at Rs 381.6, down 3.26%. The benchmark Nifty was down around 1.29% on the day. The Sensex is at 60,117.19, down 1.17%. Tata Motors Ltd lost about 9.87% in the previous month. Meanwhile, the Nifty Bank index of which Tata Motors Ltd has eased around 4.33% in November and recently traded down 2.12%. On Friday, the volume in the stock stood at 125.58 lakh shares compared with the daily average of 124.27 lakh shares in November.
In the December futures contract, the stock quoted Rs 383.55, down 2.91%. Tata Motors Ltd slipped 18.39% in the previous year compared to a 5.23% rally in Nifty and a 15.71% spurt in the Nifty Bank index.
