Sterlite Technologies announced the appointment of Tushar Shroff as the company’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and key management officer, effective immediately, upon approval by the Board of Directors.
He is a qualified chartered accountant and cost accountant having an experience of 28 years or more in the field of capital structuring, fundraising, treasury management, mergers & acquisitions, financial accounting, taxation, and planning of investor relations.
During his career, he has managed multi-billion dollar organisations and has been instrumental in building high-net-worth organisations through various initiatives. In Intas Pharmaceuticals, he has served as the Group CFO in India.

The standalone net profit of Sterlite Technologies slipped at 58.1% to Rs 44 crore in the second quarter of FY23 from Rs 105 crore recorded in FY22. Revenue from operations rose 17.2% yearly to Rs 1,768 crore in the second quarter of FY23.
On the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), Sterlite Technologies’s shares fell by 0.09% to Rs 176.15.
