GMR Airports Infrastructure reported a net loss from continuing operations of Rs 195.02 crore in the second quarter of FY23 compared to a net loss of Rs 501.70 crore in the second quarter of FY22.
During the quarter, revenue from operations jumped 53.63 per cent YoY to Rs 1,588.4 crore. The company reported a pre-tax loss of Rs 165.48 crore in the second quarter of FY23 compared to a pre-tax loss of Rs 435.53 crore in FY22.
EBITDA margin fell to 42 per cent in the second quarter of FY23 compared to 52 per cent posted in the second quarter of FY22. Total expenses jumped 52.4 per cent yearly to Rs 1,931.87 crore in the second quarter of FY23. The net debt stood at Rs 25,000 crore, while its cash and cash equivalents were Rs 4,600 crore.
The company is engaged in the maintenance, development, and operation of airports, generation of coal mining, power, and exploration activities, development, development of highways, operation of special economic zones and maintenance.
On Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the scrip slipped 4.66 per cent to recent trade at Rs 36.80 on the BSE.
