On Wednesday, Oil and Gas stocks were trading falling with the S&P BSE Oil & Gas index at 0.59%.
Among constituents of the S&P BSE Oil & Gas index, Oil & Natural Gas Corpn Ltd lost 1.77%, Gujarat Gas Ltd lost 0.74%, Reliance Industries Ltd lost 1.98%, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd lost 0.88% and Indian Oil Corporation Ltd lost 1.12%, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd fell 0.31% and GAIL (India) Ltd fell 0.35% to be the biggest losers.

On the other hand, Indraprastha Gas Ltd was up 0.8%, Adani Total Gas Ltd up 1.29% and Petronet LNG Ltd up 0.1%. In the afternoon trade, the S&P BSE Sensex was down at 0.26%. The Nifty 50 index was down at 0.29% with 49.55 points. The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up at 0.18%. The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 13.34 points or 0.15%.
The 1,694 shares of the company were trading up but 1,624 were trading fall down and 139 remain unchanged.
