On September 21, shares of RateGain Travel Tech rose after the company signed a deal with hotel company Sonder Holdings to provide its services.
RateGain said Sonder connects to RateGain’s Connectivity Switch platform, offering its dedicated chain code, SS. This makes it quick and easy for agents to search for sonar availability on the travel booking system.
Sonder offers hotels and apartment-style properties in more than 40 cities worldwide, including top business destinations such as New York City, London, Dubai, Paris, Toronto and Philadelphia.
The company said a Sonder survey of US travellers earlier this year found that 92% of business travellers felt the design of their accommodations was necessary, 11 percentage points higher than all travellers surveyed.
Shares of RateGain are up about 7% from their previous close and are trading at around Rs 294 per share on the BSE.
