Venture capital firm Sequoia India, along with Southeast Asia (SEA), is all set to launch the platform ‘Pathfinder’ Pathfinders would provide a platform that will connect the global operator to early-stage founders from India and Southeast Asia. Pathfinder would establish assistance for new start-ups to succeed in new markets with a strong focus on the U.S.
Pathfinders would leverage Sequpois’s international network to allow the company’s partner to achieve a head start in completing their global ambitions. Through the platform, founders can detail whatever assistance they require and get paired with the desired industry.
Managing Director of Sequoia, Harshjit Sethi, stated that over the past years 25 Pathfinders have onboarded on the platform to include exceptional executives, from unicorns to large tech companies across sales, marketing, engineering, and product management. Six companies have already received investments and mentorships from Pathfinders, and feedback has already been given unanimously. The company intends to scale the platform significantly over the next year by enrolling more Pathfinders and portfolio companies.
Founders/CXOs from Silicon Valley-based technology companies, including – Pratyus Pattnaik (Snr Director of Engineering, Okta), Param Kalhon (CPO, UIPath), Prasanna Sankar (Cofounder, Rippling), including Amit Singh (President, Palo Alto Networks), Oliver Jay (ex CRO, Asana), Sandeep Johri (former CEO, Tricentis) are some operators who would be participating in the program.
