On Thursday, Skoda Auto reported that its wholesales have increased to 4,222 units (by 10 per cent) in August compared to the last year. Skoda dispatched 3,829 Units in August 2021, and The Company has crossed the 37,568 Sales mark for the ongoing year with more than a quarter yet to go, said the Czech carmaker. In terms of sales, 2022 is the biggest ever sales for the company in India, states Skoda Auto.

The Previous highest by the company was in 2012, wherein 34,678 units were sold in India. Zac Hollis, Indian Brand Director of Skoda Auto India, stated, “This is a landmark moment for Skoda auto in India and the world. The credit for this achievement goes to our teams, our partners, and most importantly to our customers,” January – June 2022 sales of Skoda have already surpassed the sales of the whole 2021
