On Friday, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB) announced that it had appointed Juan Pablo Rodriguez as its General Manager and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Rodriguez will take the place of current Chairman and CEO Neeraj Garg, who is going to retire in 2022.

Currently, Rodriguez is serving as Chief Commercial Officer of Bottling Investments Group. He has led the team to attain significant growth ambitions and transform the channel strategy. As CEO, he will be primarily responsible for making sure that HCCB strives to achieve its desired growth trajectory.

Established in 1997, the beverage manufacturer has become one of India’s top FMCG companies. The company gives due credit to Indian consumers who, according to it, pick beverages 439 times per second.
BIG’s (Bottling Investments Group) President Murat Ozgel asserted that he is confident that Rodriguez will take the company’s growth to greater heights and capture India’s growth potential. He further reported that Pablo joins the team as a seasoned leader having experience across developing and developed markets. His leadership will ensure that we continue to win in the market through portfolio innovation and capability building.

Current Chairman and CEO Neeraj Garg also held that HCCB had built a strong business foundation in the growing economy. It not only focuses on manufacturing capabilities and distribution footprint but is also committed to its people, community work and sustainability.
