FMCG firm Bajaj Consumer Care Ltd, a part of the Bajaj Group of Companies, has reported a decline of 30.69% in its consolidated net profit at Rs 33.89 crore for the June quarter of 2022. The company had previously reported a net profit of Rs 48.90 crore for the April-June quarter a year ago.
According to a regulatory filing, its total revenue from operations soared 15.10% to Rs 249.44 crore during the period under review. The same stood at Rs 216.71 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago.
Total expenses of Bajaj Consumer Care were at Rs 215.22 crore, up 29.81% in the first quarter of the financial year 2022-23. Shares of Bajaj Consumer Care Ltd on Monday were trading at Rs 167.25 on BSE, up 2.83% from the previous close.
Operating in the beauty care category, Bajaj Consumer Care owns brands such as Almond Drops Hair Oil, Natyv Sóul Hair Serum, hand sanitiser and Nomarks.
