On Monday, President Ram Nath Kovind arrived in Bengaluru for a two-day visit to Karnataka.
He was received at the airport by State Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and Chief Secretary Vandita Sharma, among others.
On Monday afternoon, the President plans to hold a Platinum Jubilee celebration at the Rashtriya Military School in Bengaluru. The school was established on 1 August 1946 by King George VI (formerly the Royal Indian Military Academy).
On Tuesday, Kovind plans to participate in “Lokarpana” at the ISKCON Sri Rajadhiraja Govinda Temple on Kanakapura Road, Bangaluru.
