Junio has raised $6 million led by NB Ventures. The company said that it would utilise the funds to expand its team, launch new product features and scale up customer acquisition initiatives. “We have witnessed huge adoption of our app ever since we launched it last year. There is a strong acceptance among the parent-children community. We are now in the procedure of introducing new and exciting features while developing a user-friendly product,” Shankar Nath, co-founder of Junio, said.
Founded in 2020 by Nath and Ankit Gera, Junio offers smartcards that allow kids to purchase offline and online. The startup’s goal is to develop discipline and awareness in children about managing money in a fun and practical way. In addition, parents will also have visibility on the spending patterns of children and guide them towards early lessons in money management.
