Sprinto has raised $10 million in a funding round led by Elevation Capital, Accel and Blume Ventures. The company is thinking to use the funds to expand its team across crucial functions and R&D. “The company will boost hiring and also open its first North American office, in Utah, by the end of this quarter,” it said in a statement.
Founded by Girish Redekar and Raghuveer Kancherla, Sprinto is a compliance automation platform that helps SaaS companies acquire compliances like SOC 2, ISO27001, GDPR, HIPAA etc. “As compliance with these standards, including SOC 2, is becoming a necessary business requirement, most companies rely on infosec consultants and auditors to get the necessary certifications,” Redekar said. “Being SOC2 compliant has become an income concern for SaaS businesses. Realizing this growing demand, Sprinto wants to become the infosec OS of choice for SaaS service providers,” Kancherla added.
