Krafton has invested $5.4 million in mobile game development studio Nautilus Mobile. This is Krafton’s first investment in a game development studio in India. “Our investment in Nautilus will allow us to open the journey that we believe is the beginning of what the gaming industry will see in the future,” Rajan Navani, Chairman of Nautilus Mobile, said.
“We are excited to invest in Nautilus as we share a common interest in making unique gaming experiences for the Indian audience,” Sean Hyunil Sohn, India head of Krafton, said. He also noted that Krafton would help via its other subsidiary, RisingWings, in monetisation and game development. Krafton will also work with Nautilus to help it expand in western markets.
