Nutraceutical startup Power Gummies has raised $6 million in a Series A funding round led by 9Unicorns. Other investors like Vcats, DSG Consumer Partners, WIPRO Consumers, Sharpp Ventures, and NB Ventures participated in the funding round. Founded in March 2018 by Divij Bajaj, Power Gummies produces different chewable dietary supplements that offer additional health benefits like gummies that help hair and nail growth.

The startup claims that its gummies are authorised by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) and the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and contains no sugar, gelatin, gluten, pesticides or artificial colour and are 100 per cent vegetarian.

The startup is thinking to utilise the fresh funds towards marketing spending, building a larger team and adding more products to its line of dietary supplements. “I truly believe that when you understand the need of the hour, you become the change of the hour. That is our mission to create scientifically backed supplements following our principles of ‘health powered by happiness and backed by science’, that make taking nutrition easy with just 2 gummies a day,” Divij Bajaj, founder and CEO of Power Gummies said.
