The centre is ready to celebrate ‘Good Governance’ week from Monday, the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievance (DARPG) announced. DARPG in partnership with the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare (DoPPW), Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), and Ministry of Panchayati Raj and Rural Development will be celebrating several events from December 20 to 26.
There will be a launch of the campaign for Redressal of Public Grievances and Improving Service Delivery “Prashasan Gaon Ki Aur”, and the inauguration of the Exhibition on Good Governance Practices. Access to an online portal will be given to all District Collectors of every state and Union Territories (UTs) to share their progress and achievements. Good Governance week will represent the strides made by India in promoting citizen-centric governance and improving service delivery with Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav celebrations to celebrate 75 years of developed India.
