YouTube is launching listening controls for Android and iOS users for YouTube Premium subscribers. The features can substitute everything under the video window with a sparse sheet. Play/pause, next/previous, and 10-second rewind/forward are the main buttons in the feature. YouTube app users can also save new songs to a playlist with the help of this feature.
Android users of the YouTube app has already crossed the 10 billion downloads on the Google Play Store. It was always expected that YouTube would become the first user-facing Android app to hit such a download milestone on the Play Store. The app comes pre-installed on almost all devices, and it is marginally supported and can even include some activation from back before the Play Store even existed.
