The government is working on speedy execution of the National Infrastructure Pipeline (NIP), the National Monetisation Pipeline (NMP), and the Gati Shakti plan, the department of economic affairs secretary Ajay Seth said. Talking at a webinar on Social and Economic Reforms under Modi Administration organised by FICCI, Seth said that the Finance Ministry was working with other ministries, departments and state government to fulfil the three major reform programmes.
“The national foundation pipeline with Rs 111 lakh crore, accompanied by the national monetisation plan of Rs 6 lakh crore, joined with the Gati Shakti plan so that there can be seamless movement of goods and services and employment opportunities,” he said. “We are on the way to recovery, and we are looking ahead to the finance ministry, industry, government partnership, transparent and exchange of ideas so that we can take ahead,” he said.
