Lido Learning will raise Rs 41 crore from angel investors Ronnie Screwvala and ZNL Growth Fund Scheme 1. Lido Learning launched an allotment of 1,41,493 Series Seed 2 preference shares at an issue rate of Rs 2,880 per share to raise Rs 40.75 crore.
Lido Learning gives live online tuition classes to children from KG to Class 9 in ICSE and CBSE. It has classes in math, science, English and coding. This month, it launched a coding programme in the US and Canada, beginning its expertise of coding tutors to overseas markets. It is planning to expand to the UK, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

“The company is focusing on giving quality education using carefully measured interventions, visual-based curriculum, use of gamification which promotes positive learning in students. Lido’s international courses will be made available for a region-specific syllabus. Lido will extend its 1:1 class offering outside the country as well,” the company said in a statement.
