Goa has increased the mandatory Covid-19 curfew till September 13. In a notification, the state government said that the curfew is now extended till 7:00 AM of September 13. The curfew was planned to end on September 6. “As part of the curfew, the state government has kept the restrictions that are currently in force,” a senior official said.

The coronavirus curfew was first imposed in the state on May 9 and has been extended regularly. Goa has reported 72 new covid-19 cases on Sunday The death toll has risen by five, taking the total count to 3,208, according to a state health department official. The number of recovered patients remained higher than new infections at 89 recoveries. Now the total recovery count in the state is at 1,70,311.
