Foreign ministers from different countries will do a meeting virtually to review their next steps in Afghanistan. Ministers from Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, UK, Turkey, Qatar, EU and NATO will participate, the State Department said.
“The members will discuss a joined plan for the upcoming days and weeks,” the statement said. The statement also stated US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will speak after the meeting on the efforts of the US in Afghanistan. The meeting comes a day later after the US destroyed an explosive vehicle by air striking in Kabul and after President Biden warned of another attack in Kabul after the suicide bombing on Thursday.
