Google has updated YouTube search that will make it easier for users to find content. “While YouTube has many videos, they don’t cover every topic in every language. And we are always trying new ways to make learning more convenient and easy to find for all users. We now have some exciting plan to develop content searches on YouTube,” Google said.
This will allow users to easily browse a video with timestamps and get the content they are looking for. Videos with timestamps will enable users to look at different topics and jump directly to the part they want to watch by clicking on the timestamp. Auto-translated captions, titles and descriptions can also be seen in search results if you browse videos that are not in your local language.
These will be launched for English videos and then for other languages. This feature is only available on mobile and is limited to India and Indonesia for testing. Still, Google said that it would be expanding it to more countries based on the feedback.
