Canada has increased the ban on passenger flights from India until September 21 due to growing coronavirus cases.
“Based on the recent public health information from the Public Health Agency of Canada, Transport Canada is increasing the Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) to restrict all direct commercial and private passenger flights from India till September 21, 2021, at 23:59 EDT,” the department said in a statement.
The ban was first forced on April 22 and has already been extended several times. This is the 5th time the ban has been increased on flights from India.
