On wednesday, the Union Cabinet has approved low-cost housing scheme that aims to provide houses for all by 2022.

The Centre is in the final stage of launching “Housing for All” programme, it will assist the State Government for facilitating a concrete house to all citizens of the country by the year 2022.

Slums redevelopment will be an important component of this programme.

There will be the provisions for tax incentives on interest rates charged by banks on loans for the poor section of the society in the scheme.
