Union Minister Nitin Gadkari inaugurated and laid foundation stones of road projects of Rs 4,160 Crores in Jaunpur and Mirzapur region of Uttar Pradesh, an official statement said. In Jaunpur, he laid the foundation stone for three national highway projects worth Rs 1,123 crores, and in Mirzapur, he inaugurated four national highway projects worth Rs 3,037 crore, the statement added.
He also said, “We are determined to develop Uttar Pradesh. These road projects will boost the development of the state and give better connectivity in the district.” The minister told these road projects will lessen the movement of goods with better connectivity in the region and promote markets for agricultural produce, local and other products.
